Peter Ablinger
City Opera Buenos Aires

2011

The work belongs to the *City Operas* series, a collection of compositions conceived for different cities around the world, and was presented at Sala Casacuberta of Teatro San Martín as part of the Contemporary Music Festival. A concert for ensemble, city noises, female voice, and video. The musical work is composed over the video piece, which consists of a single real-time shot of a street corner in Almagro, filmed according to Ablinger’s precise instructions.
